Traditional service since the 17th century this small quintessential English Coaching Inn atop the White Peak area of the National Park with views across the Dales inspiring poetry with warming by a roasting fire on a snowy winter days to rambling in panoramic glory through every season.  
Stay in one of our nine modern comfortable en suite rooms and dine in the old pub.
Eat, drink and be merry with open fires, candlelight, wine and good food to refresh the mind and cheer your soul. We love and welcome dogs too.
We also now have a secure cycle shed pefect if you are coming on a cycling holiday as the Tissington and High Peak Trails are in close proximity.

“I recently stayed at the Jug and Glass Inn with my mother and her Jack Russell.The hosts were welcoming and friendly.The room was spotless, smelt fresh and the facilities in the room were excellent.Had a great nights sleep and the buffet breakfast was extensive and well organised.This accommodation is well priced and the perfect location for exploring the Peak District.They really are dog friendly too.
